GRATITUDE

Have you ever taken a moment to reflect on everything God has done for you? Where would you find yourself without God's presence, love and faithfulness? Reflecting on my 41 years on this earth, I can see God's hand in everything! Throughout my life, God has consistently been faithful and exceptionally good! In the car accidents I've been involved in, God was present. I emerged from those accidents without any broken bones and with my life intact. I am a divorced woman who remains in good mental and emotional health. Despite the challenges of divorce, I am able to forgive and embrace what God has for me in the future. I've been with multiple partners, and God has kept me safe from disease. The incredible thing is that even when you're not following His will and are pursuing your own path, He never gives up on you. He patiently waits with open arms for you to return to Him, hoping you'll find your way back. I am truly grateful that God never gave up on me! I was lost for such a long time, even reaching moments where I questioned my faith and everything my parents taught me from a young age. But God! At this moment, I understand that I cannot live without God. It's impossible. He is the breath within me, the blood coursing through my veins. He is my everything! When I considered suicide, He was present. At the instant I thought about releasing the car's wheel, He took control, and since then, He has been steering the course of my life. One of my favorite expressions that I often shout out, which brings me both laughter and peace when I reflect on it, is "Jesus take the Wheel!" and I tell you He has indeed taken control. It brings tears to my eyes to see where I am now compared to where I have been. God is truly incredible! We simply need to surrender and entrust our whole life to Him. The Potter creates wonders with the clay.

Prayer:

Lord, you are amazing! I love you so much. You deserve all the praise. All the glory is Yours, God. Where would I be without your love, grace and mercy? Time and again, you've rescued me from the enemy's grasp. God, I thank you for waking me up this morning and keeping my mind sound. Thank you, God, for providing a roof over my head and transportation to get from one place to another. Lord, I appreciate my job and the favor you've bestowed upon my life. Thank you for attending to every detail concerning me. I am grateful that you go before me. Lord, I thank you for the pastors and leaders you have anointed in the pulpit, who have been instrumental in my life. I am thankful for an earthly father who seeks your heart daily and has taught me to walk in wisdom and integrity. I am grateful for my community and friends who support me, and I am so thankful for their Godly wisdom. God, I thank you for entrusting me with raising four young men. Lord, I thank you for being my provider, protector and my peace. Life's storms challenge us, but with the peace that surpasses all understanding, we can endure anything. God, thank you for never letting go of my hand. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
